Telling moving stories through our lens.
Bienvenue à Oak & Parish
I’m Tabitha! I’m so glad you’re here.
I'm a South Louisiana girl through and through. Born and raised among crawfish boils, front porch swinging, and the kind of community that teaches you the importance of family and storytelling.
These days, my life is shared with my husband, our daughter, and our two dogs. When I'm not behind a camera, you'll probably find me playing pickleball, working on a collage, painting something new, or diving headfirst into a creative project. I was born with the "I can totally do that" gene.
My husband and I started Oak & Parish in 2017, but my love for photography started long before it became my career. When I was sixteen, my dad bought me my first "big girl" camera, and something clicked.
I've always been an artist at heart. Whether it's photography, filmmaking, painting, drawing, or crafting, I'm happiest when I'm creating something meaningful. That's what I love most about photo and video; I get to use my creativity to preserve the moments that matter most.
Photographs and films have this incredible ability to transport us back in time. Years from now, a single image or a few seconds of video can bring you right back to a laugh, a hug, a voice, or a feeling you never want to forget. That's the magic of what I do. I don't just capture what a moment looked like, I strive to preserve what it felt like.
Because one day, these moments won't just be memories. They'll be part of your story. And I would love to be a part of that.
